Overnight Sailing Questions

What time should we arrive?

We recommend you arrive at American Yacht Harbor 30 minutes before scheduled departure time. Kelly will meet you at Molly Malones and transport your group to the Hakuna Matata. Molly's is located to the right of AYH down on the water. If you need directions to us, it would be easier to talk to you as there are no road signs on St. Thomas.

What do we need to bring?

We recommend you bring a non-spray sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, towel, waterproof camera, bathing suit (easiest if already on under clothes). For those new to sailing you may also want to bring something for possible sea sickness (Bonine, Dramamine, and Sea Sickness Bands all work great).

If I want to plan a special occasion onboard can I set up ahead of time?

Yes, from time to time we get requests to prepare for proposals and even vow renewals onboard the Hakuna Matata. We will be happy to work with you to plan your special event ahead of time. You can bring your own champagne, cake, etc or ask for all inclusive pricing on such events.
